Frustrating. It freezes and crashes every few minutes. Very frustrating, as all microsoft products seem to be.

Best player. SL is excellent but its downloading process is complex try to makes it easy and user friendly so that each user can be able to download it easily without any problem.

Not Required By Many Sites. Microsoft Silverlight currently isn't used by many sites. And Microsoft has changed from trying to compete with Flash Player to now trying to compete with Adobe AIR. With Microsoft confused not to many sites use Silverlight and aren't even sure what Microsoft truly has planned for Silverlight in the end.If like to install all plugins so you don't miss out then by all means install Microsoft Silverlight. But chances are you won't run into many sites that require it ... at least anytime soon. Microsoft needs to know what the final purpose for Silverlight will be before web developers know.All in all to me it's better safe than sorry. I install all plugins so I don't miss out on anything. However if your one who doesn't like to install a bunch of stuff, go ahead and avoid installing Silverlight until you come across a site or product that requires it. Pros: Easy To InstallFree Cons: Not Used By Many SitesMicrosoft Not Sure Of How Silverlight Will Be Developed

Alsome. I use the MICROSOFT SILVERLIGHT all the time watching HD movies. It work good and clear!! Good HDV , Sound ,it's fast with no probems at all... So if you like wathing movies - please download it ; it's FREE !!! .. BELLAKAN ..

Silverlight 1.0 cannot be uninstalled. Windows Vista Updat is not able to find Silverlight.msi to uninstall and add the new version. This is repeated several times every day. No help on the web where hundreds are having the same problem.Need a link to download Silverlight 1.0 exe file so I can extract the msi and msp files.Microsoft only offers the exe for 2.0 and 3.0.Seems like someone would have saved 1.0 and put it out on the web for others to download.The MSI Cleanup tool warns the everything will need to be reinstalled and I'm not willing totake that chance.Guess my Vista will forever have the New Updates are available icon displayed.Tom Pros: Able to download 2.0 and 3.0 Cons: Cannot remove 1.0 but it says I am using 2.0. Confusing!The 2.0 msi will not uninstall 1.0
